The building where Hotel Es Port is located has its roots at the end of the 16th century and, eventhough its rooms and decoration have been added to offer the best services for our 21st century clients, we want to maintain a traditional atmosphere suited to the history of our “possesió”. To achieve this environment was necessary to create furniture that could be very similar to those of the time but with the current functionality.

As many of our followers pointed out, the letters JC are the initials of those in charge of helping us to make the decoration and furniture of the Hotel Es Port appropriate and according to the history of our building,
the entire Castanyer Mobiliari team.
Castanyer Mobiliari is a company located in the heart of Sóller and specialized in the production and restoration of high quality custom furniture. His business dates back to 1865 when Cristóbal Castanyer founded a small carpentry workshop. The business went from generation to generation until today, becoming a consolidated company, the best for the challenge that we take care of.
They work fundamentally wood and their hallmark are perfect, original and personal finishing. But they are also specialists in interior design, manufacture of furniture and room equipment, services that have been provided in the different rooms of the Hotel Es Port.
