All Saints Day in Soller

Es Firó of Soller

Es Firó has become a massive celebration that has exceeded the limits of Soller becoming one of the most important festivals of the island. It has no fixed date, but held on Monday after the second Sunday in May. Important days are the previous Thursday, Friday and Sunday as well as the main day, Monday.

Sant Bartomeu, Saint Patron of Soller

Unlike Es Firó, the festival of Sant Bartomeu in Soller is a more familiar festivity. It is a local holiday and not festive throughout the island, therefore the “sollerics” can enjoy and celebrate with more privacy because they receive fewer visitors. San Bartholomew is the patron of Soller since the Catalan conquest of Mallorca in the thirteenth century.
